For some unknown reason, Marilyn never filed her 2003 tax return, so the IRS computer system filed it for her and computed the maximum possible tax, penalties, and interest at about $31,000. The IRS computer then levied her paycheck and she contacted me for help.

I got in touch with my IRS reps and then I replaced the IRS tax return with one that I had personally prepared. My tax return significantly lowered her taxes down to about $250.

My IRS rep agreed to release the wage levy and my client agreed to pay the $250.

So all is well in the world. At least in the Tax World for this client.
