  • This client has had a very significant decrease in her monthly income that has qualified her for Currently Non Collectible status.

Ellinor has had a run of bad luck lately.

Not only was IRS garnishing her paycheck, but she had not filed tax returns since 2002. Even with my tax returns that replaced the 2003 and 2004 returns that IRS prepared for her, she still winds up owing almost $28,000 for all years combined.

Unfortunately for me, though, it looks like I won't get paid for any of my work since I just found out that Ellinor is no longer employed by the company that had the wage levy.

I filed all of her tax returns for her and got her classified as Currently Non Collectible (CNC) and now she has no job, no income, and no ability to pay me.

This is just one of those cases that comes along with a good and bad ending. Good for Ellinor that she is now CNC; bad for me that I won't get paid.
