Like most of my callers, Cynthia was troubled about how very little of her paycheck was actually being paid to her after IRS had sent a Wage Levy notice to her employer.

Since this was Payday Friday, I told her that I would see if I could get her levy released by Monday and possibly be able to save her paycheck for her.

It took some work over the weekend, but I was able to do it.

On Monday, my IRS rep worked very well with me and closed the case out and released Cynthia's wage levy.

Contrary to public opinion, most of the people who work for IRS are extraordinarily good and hard working people. Rarely do I encounter the Evil IRS People that everyone talks about.

So Cynthia is now required to pay $162.50 per paycheck to help pay off her old taxes that total about $18,750. Her payroll department will be deducting it from her paycheck just like any other payroll deduction.
