IRS Offer in Compromise (OIC)
Details

Most people don't want to prepare and file their own Offers in Compromise. One
of the beauties of the Internet is that you can use it to find someone who is
willing to do what you need to get done but don't want to do. For a price, of
course.
So that's where we and our Offer in Compromise staff come in.
We do the dirty work and you get all the glory. Sounds kind of like the real
world, doesn't it?
We take our cars to our mechanics and he fixes them and he comes to us for tax
work. We're all really good at what we do but we're pretty much totally
worthless when we try to do the other one's job.
So if you need an Offer in Compromise prepared and you're not confident in your
own ability to do it and you are willing to pay us to do it for you, then we
might be able to do business together.
So here is how my program works:
- You download our Offer in Compromise Package (more details will follow).
- You fill out the Client Info Sheets.
- You gather the required additional information.
- You fax or mail or overnight it all to us.
- We'll review it and assign it to one of our special OIC Staff. OIC cases
are all they handle. Nothing else. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Nothing.
- Our OIC Staff member will also review your Package.
- That OIC Staff Member will begin a file for your own personal OIC.
- The OIC Staff Member will prepare your own Guaranteed Acceptable for
Processing IRS Offer In Compromise (more details on the next page).
- The OIC Staff Member will contact you for additional information, if
necessary.
- Once the OIC is in its final stage, it will be mailed to you in a
complete OIC Filing Package. All you have to do is sign it and mail it to
IRS along with a check for your $150 filing fee and any other info we tell
you about.
- Within 30 days, both our office and you will receive written
notification that your Offer has been received by the IRS Offer in
Compromise Group. It will then begin its way through the verification
process after it has been assigned to an IRS Offer Specialist.
- Your Offer in Compromise should take between six and twelve months to
work its way to completion. Sorry it takes so long, but IRS has thousands of
OICs to work with such a limited staff, so you just have to put up with the
delay.
