Here are the IRS mailing addresses for your tax payments if you must pay additional taxes with your extension.

 

If you need to send IRS a payment when filing your extension, be sure to print the following
 information in the memo portion of your check:
                    1. Your Social Security number
                    2. The words "Form 1040" and the year you are paying (2003, 2004, etc.)
                    3. The words "Extension payment"
