Quit Worrying!

As we have talked about your situation on the phone, and as we told you several times, we want you to remember that this is our job. It’s what we do and we do it very well. It’s easy for us to tell you on the phone “don’t worry” and that “everything will be okay”, but it’s another thing for you to believe it. But please trust us and give us a few days to work this out. And remember, we am very good at this or we wouldn’t continue to do it.

There is some important information that we must have before we can talk to IRS knowledgeably about your tax matter. Without this information we will be at a disadvantage – and we don’t like to be at a disadvantage in our dealings with IRS.

If there are things you choose not to tell us that IRS already knows and can use to their advantage, just remember that they will do so. It’s not that everyone who works for IRS is evil and hates all taxpayers. Quite the opposite. Virtually all IRS employees are very good people and have compassion for taxpayers.

But always remember this about IRS:

It’s their job to collect the money they say you owe them (whether you agree with them or not) and they try very hard to do just that.

If you have any questions, just call us. Toll free 877/256-3328.

Now, here are the things we must have in order to represent you to the best of our ability. Check them off as you collect them and then fax them to us as soon as possible. The sooner, the better. Don’t delay, as time is money. Your money.
1. Power of Attorney (POA) with your name(s), address, and Social Security number(s) on page one and signed on page two. You can download the Power Of Attorney, as well as the rest of our Downloadable Info Pack, by clicking the booklet in the right-hand column of this page.

1. Note: You should fax the Package to us immediately upon your decision to use our services. When we receive the POA we will immediately fax it to IRS so that they can enter it into their computer system to show that we represent you.
2. Copy of your wage or bank levy, if you have it.
3. Copy of your (and your spouse’s) most recent pay stubs (with year-to-date totals) for all jobs you work. Don’t leave any out.
4. Copy of divorce decree page one and the page(s) that list(s) alimony and/or child support details.
5. Copy of three month’s child support and/or alimony checks. If child support is deducted from your paycheck, then your pay stub will be sufficient.
6. Copy of three month’s childcare checks and/or invoices.
7. Support for medical expenses (checks and receipts) if we have told you that your expenses will probably be questioned by IRS because it is higher than normal.
8. Support for any other specific expenses that we have told you to support.
